Berg designed the X-ite for riders who want their kart to look as trendy as it rides. The graphics take cues from motocross bikes, and underneath them sits a steel frame, swing axle and pneumatic tyres built to handle uneven ground. It suits riders from age 5 through to 190cm tall, and can be upgraded from single speed BFR to 3 gears or electric pedal assist.

The two tone motocross styling is what draws riders in, but the swing axle chassis and pneumatic tyres are what keep the ride comfortable once they are on board. Ball bearings keep pedalling light, and mudguards keep riders clean when the ground gets uneven.

BFR Technology

Pedal forward, coast, or brake and reverse

BFR stands for Brake, Freewheel, Reverse. Pedal forward to drive, ease off to freewheel and coast, or back pedal to brake and reverse. A coaster brake works with the pedals while a separate hand brake and parking brake add extra control for younger or newer riders.

The base BFR variant is single speed. BFR-3 adds a three gear system, low, mid and high, for more control on hills and higher top speed. E-BFR goes further with a 250W electric motor delivering pedal assist across ECO, TOUR, SPORT and TURBO modes, useful for longer rides or less pedalling effort.

What is the difference between BFR, BFR-3 and E-BFR on the X-ite?

BFR is the standard single speed pedal kart with brake, freewheel and reverse control. BFR-3 adds a three gear system, low, mid and high, for more control and speed. E-BFR adds a 250W electric motor providing pedal assist across four power modes, letting riders cover more ground with less effort.

What age and height suits the X-ite?

Berg recommends the X-ite for riders aged 5 and up, with a rider height range of 125cm to 190cm and a maximum rider weight of 100kg, so it suits kids through to adults on the E-BFR variant.

How does the X-ite compare to the Race GTS?

Both share the same steel chassis, swing axle and BFR system, so the choice comes down to styling. The X-ite carries motocross inspired graphics while the Race GTS leans into racing styling with the same bucket seat comfort.

Does the X-ite require assembly?

Yes, home assembly is required using the included tools and instructions. All Things For Kids also offers an assembly service if you would prefer it delivered ready to ride.

Do you ship to PO Box addresses?

Unfortunately our courier drivers cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. If you have an alternative address such as a workplace or office, that will keep delivery smooth and on time.

Most products leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days after payment clears.

How long does delivery take?

Courier time depends on your state and the size of the item. Metro is usually quick; 1–3 days for the East Coast and 4–5 days for the West Coast. Regional/remote can take a bit longer. You’ll get tracking once it’s collected.

What warranty is included?
