The Buddy B Orange 2.0 is one of Berg's most popular pedal go karts, now retuned with new rims, grippier tyres and a reworked bucket seat. Suited to kids aged 3 to 8 years, its BFR drivetrain lets young drivers pedal forward, reverse and brake using the same pedals, while a four wheel swing axle keeps the ride planted and stable.

BFR Technology

Pedal forward, reverse and brake, all from one drivetrain

Berg's BFR system lets kids pedal forwards, pedal backwards and brake, simply by changing how they pedal. A freewheel function lets the kart coast while the pedals stay still, so little legs get a rest between bursts of pedalling.

Grippy air filled tyres smooth out every ride

Four pneumatic tyres cushion bumps in the footpath or driveway and give young drivers confident grip when cornering. The updated rims and tyre design were introduced with this 2.0 model refresh.

What age is the Berg Buddy B Orange 2.0 suited to?

The maximum rider weight is 50kg, in line with Berg's official specification for the Buddy 2.0 range.

Does it come assembled?

It arrives flat packed with all hardware and clear instructions for simple home assembly. All Things For Kids also offers an assembly service if you would like it built for you.

How does the B Orange compare to the Buddy Cross or Buddy Lua?

All three share the same Buddy 2.0 frame, seat and BFR drivetrain. The B Orange comes in an orange and grey livery, the Buddy Cross adds off road styled tyres and a built in soundbox, and the Buddy Lua is finished in a pink and mint colourway.

Do you ship to PO Box addresses?

Unfortunately our courier drivers cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. If you have an alternative address such as a workplace or office, that will keep delivery smooth and on time.

Courier time depends on your state and the size of the item. Metro is usually quick; 1–3 days for the East Coast and 4–5 days for the West Coast. Regional/remote can take a bit longer. You’ll get tracking once it’s collected.

What warranty is included?
