The Duo Coaster is Berg's premium two up pedal go kart, engineered from the same commercial grade steel used in Berg's rental fleet karts around the world. Two adjustable seats and a shared BFR pedal system mean a parent and child, or two siblings, can pedal, brake and cruise side by side on one kart.

Two Up, One Kart

Built for riding together, not taking turns

Most pedal go karts seat one. The Duo Coaster seats two, with a front and rear position that each adjust to fit a different sized rider. That means a parent can pedal alongside a child, or two kids can share the ride without arguing over whose turn is next. It is the reason this kart sits at the top of Berg's pedal go kart range.

BFR Technology

Brake, freewheel and reverse from the pedals

BFR stands for Brake, Freewheel, Reverse, Berg's own pedal operated system. Pedal forward to drive, stop pedalling to freewheel and coast, or back pedal to brake and reverse. A hand brake and a parking brake on the rear wheels give extra control when the kart is loaded with two riders.

Can one adult and one child ride the Duo Coaster together?

Yes. Both seats adjust independently, so a taller adult and a smaller child can each find a comfortable position, provided total combined rider weight stays under the 200kg limit.

Is the Duo Coaster only available in one configuration?

Yes, the Duo Coaster is sold as a single BFR configuration rather than in the BFR-3 or E-BFR tiers offered on some of Berg's single seat karts, since it is designed as a shared pedal experience rather than a solo speed kart.

How is the Duo Coaster different to Berg's single seat karts like the X-plore or XCross?

Single seat karts like the X-plore and XCross carry one rider and can be upgraded with gears or electric pedal assist. The Duo Coaster is built for two riders on one frame at once, with a heavier duty commercial grade chassis to suit.

Does the Duo Coaster require assembly?

Yes, home assembly is required using the included tools and instructions. All Things For Kids also offers an assembly service if you would prefer it delivered ready to ride.

Do you ship to PO Box addresses?

Unfortunately our courier drivers cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. If you have an alternative address such as a workplace or office, that will keep delivery smooth and on time.

Do you offer layby?

Yes. We can set up a simple layby on most items—no interest, just easy instalments. Your order ships once the balance is paid. Pop a layby request through or message us and we’ll set it up.

How long until my order dispatches?

Most products leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days after payment clears.

How long does delivery take?

Courier time depends on your state and the size of the item. Metro is usually quick; 1–3 days for the East Coast and 4–5 days for the West Coast. Regional/remote can take a bit longer. You’ll get tracking once it’s collected.

Do you offer assembly?

Yes—in most areas. We work with insured installers who know our brands well. Ask for an assembly quote and we’ll book it once the item is received.

What warranty is included?

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (length varies by brand). Majority are 12 months. Some are longer—check each product or ask our team. We’ll organise the fix with the supplier—fast and fuss-free.
