How does the push cart to pedal kart switch work?

A freewheel switch on the pedal crank lets the wheels turn freely without the pedals spinning, so you can push comfortably. Flip it back and the direct drive pedals engage again for independent riding.

Is this the same as the other Buzzy karts, just with an accessory?

No, the Retro's push bar, freewheel switch, steering lock and hand brake are genuine built in features, not an add on accessory, which is why it is a true 2 in 1 push cart and pedal go kart.

What age is the Berg Buzzy Retro suitable for?

Can the push bar be removed completely once they don't need it?

Yes, the push bar is designed to be removed once your child is confidently pedalling on their own, leaving a standard independent Buzzy go kart.

Do you ship to PO Box addresses?

Unfortunately our courier drivers cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. If you have an alternative address such as a workplace or office, that will keep delivery smooth and on time.

Yes. We can set up a simple layby on most items—no interest, just easy instalments. Your order ships once the balance is paid. Pop a layby request through or message us and we’ll set it up.

Most products leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days after payment clears.

How long does delivery take?

Courier time depends on your state and the size of the item. Metro is usually quick; 1–3 days for the East Coast and 4–5 days for the West Coast. Regional/remote can take a bit longer. You’ll get tracking once it’s collected.
