The Biky Retro comes with a detachable leather look backpack that mounts to the frame for storage, then unclips to carry a drink bottle, snack or small toy on the go. It is a small styling detail that gives this model its own identity in the Biky range.

Underneath the retro paint and alloy forks is the same single piece magnesium frame used across the Biky range, so it weighs just 6kg. Your child can lift, wheel and reposition the bike on their own from the very first ride.

The steering angle limiter, low instep frame and height adjustable seat are all here, so beginners get a safe, controlled way to learn balance before moving to a pedal bike. There is no chain, no pedals and no training wheels to remove later.

Setup

Arrives with the seat post and handlebar pre fitted, so most families are riding within 10 to 15 minutes. Our assembly service is available if you would rather we do it for you.

Does the backpack come with the bike or is it sold separately?

The detachable leather look backpack is included with every Biky Retro. It clips onto the frame and can be removed and carried separately.

What age is the Berg Biky Retro suitable for?

Berg recommends the Biky Retro for children aged 2 to 5 years, or roughly 90cm to 120cm tall. The adjustable seat allows it to fit your child as they grow across that range.

How is this different from the Biky Cross?

Both use the same magnesium frame, steering limiter and tyre size. The Biky Retro has a vintage look with alloy forks, white retro tyres and the bonus backpack, while the Biky Cross has an off road two tone styling.

Can I pay this off or order for a school or centre?

Yes, we offer layby, invoice and purchase order options, and we regularly handle bulk orders for schools, centres and families buying more than one bike.

Do you ship to PO Box addresses?

Unfortunately our courier drivers cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. If you have an alternative address such as a workplace or office, that will keep delivery smooth and on time.

Yes. We can set up a simple layby on most items—no interest, just easy instalments. Your order ships once the balance is paid. Pop a layby request through or message us and we’ll set it up.

How long until my order dispatches?

Most products leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days after payment clears.

How long does delivery take?

Courier time depends on your state and the size of the item. Metro is usually quick; 1–3 days for the East Coast and 4–5 days for the West Coast. Regional/remote can take a bit longer. You’ll get tracking once it’s collected.

Do you offer assembly?

Yes—in most areas. We work with insured installers who know our brands well. Ask for an assembly quote and we’ll book it once the item is received.

What warranty is included?

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (length varies by brand). Majority are 12 months. Some are longer—check each product or ask our team. We’ll organise the fix with the supplier—fast and fuss-free.
