Happy Shack Wooden Cubby House for Kids – Outdoor Playhouse by KidzShack

The Happy Shack is a wooden outdoor cubby house designed for kids who want their own space for imaginative backyard play at home. It encourages outdoor time away from screens and gives children a dedicated spot for roleplay, creative games, and everyday play in the yard.

The Happy Shack can be purchased with or without a floor and with or without a Platform. Please read carefully and select the option from the drop-down menu.

  • Easy Assembly: Supplied with pre-made panels and pre-drilled holes. Takes approx. 2–3 hours with 2 people and a battery drill.

  • Max Capacity: 3–4 children (approx. 100kg total)

Our cubbies are painted with a temporary water-based stain. The Happy Shack is supplied in a Dark Blue/Grey/Wood Look/White water-based stain as shown in the last images. Please note: stained water-based colours may differ or change. We recommend painting your cubby house with two coats of primer and two coats of durable outdoor paint from Taubmans for longevity, within 4 weeks of outdoor use.

How long does delivery take?

Courier time depends on your state and the size of the item. Metro is usually quick; 1–3 days for the East Coast and 4–5 days for the West Coast. Regional/remote can take a bit longer. You’ll get tracking once it’s collected.

Do you offer assembly?

Yes—in most areas. We work with insured installers who know our brands well. Ask for an assembly quote and we’ll book it once the item is received.

What warranty is included?

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (length varies by brand). Majority are 12 months. Some are longer—check each product or ask our team. We’ll organise the fix with the supplier—fast and fuss-free.
